N2  - There were two editions of McGibbon's Collection. The first was in three parts of 36pp. 1742, 1746, 1755. The second, which was in four parts totalling 120 pages, was published in 1768 by Bremner, who included some additions of his own (from: Gore, Charles 1994); The three parts in this volume are of the second edition of 1768, not 1762. (part I 1-28, part II 29-60, part III 61-92). Not known if Bremner additions are appended to McGibbon's work or interspersed
