Formatted contents note Note by John Bird: "Beware. Many of the cylinders are put on to acetate more than once and even some of the acetates seem to be recorded on to tape more than once. To add to the complications, sometimes 2 re-recordings of the same cylinders are given different dates (One of them must be wrong!) These tapes are recordings of the acetates made in the 1940s by the Library of Congress (and others?) of the original brown wax cylinders made before W.W.I. by Grainger, and the ref numbers announced by the American gentleman now and again refer to the L.O.C. acetate number.".
