The Romanian Calusari dancers filmed on their visit to London for the International Folk Dance Festival in July 1935 -- 14:41-44:47 Hora (chain dance). Romanian drama - characters include Turkish man and wife, and the devil. The drama features death and revival, and many sexual encounters. Flag dance. Pentecost dance. Jucatul copiilor (Play of the children) -- 44:48-48:55 New Year custom from north east Romania, Moldova. Characters include hobby horse (caiut), old man, and bear -- 48:56 Real bear being lead through the streets in Romania (possibly Bucarest?).
